About Anna

We all deserve to have enjoyment, balance, and fair compensation in our work. I created Career Craft to help people achieve these goals.

My education experience includes a bachelors in Spanish and Rhetoric from Knox College, a masters in Biology with an emphasis in Remote Sensing from Boise State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Analysis.

When my graduate work concluded, I was offered a position as a research analyst at Boise State. I negotiated a 25% increase to the initial hourly rate offer. In this role, I mentored undergraduate and graduate students, led field data collections, and wrote and edited papers for two years.

At DZYNE Technologies, I was the project manager on a $5 million research contract for the US government. I was invited to interview for this role based on my LinkedIn profile and skills. The strong performance of my team and our investigation led to a $10 million contract in the second phase of the project. I negotiated a promotion within my first 8 months at the company and two 10% raises within a year and half.

Throughout my work and education experience, I have helped friends and family with job and school applications. I love coaching and providing feedback so that people feel confident and communicate their value.

Outside of my business, I enjoy making pottery, reading, and hiking.
